About us | over the rainbow kids

Jaime Moran

Jaime has always known that she wanted to work with children. While working towards her high school and college diplomas, she worked at a daycare with special needs adults and worked with children with autism as a paraprofessional. She taught Kindergarten for six years and third grade for one year. She left that profession to raise her three children and pursue her dream of having her own school. Building Over the Rainbow into an accomplished learning institution is equal to the joy of raising her children.

Krystin Negron

My name is Krystin Negron and previously I worked In a Montessori school as a Teacher’s Assistant. I’ve worked with all age groups from 15 months -12 years old frequently, and occasionally 14 year olds (who were the oldest bunch at the school!). I decided to pursue a career in Education because of a personal realization I had about the impact loving caregivers and role models can have on students’ lives.

Reflecting on my own experiences, I understood the importance of educators who recognize students’ struggles and demonstrate genuine care beyond just grades and assessments. This inspired me to engage in conversations with others and discover that many individuals faced similar challenges. It was this insight that led me to contemplate becoming the type of person who genuinely cares about the well-being and success of students, emphasizing the significance of equity and lifting others up.
