  • What's Happening In Our Classrooms

  • Infant Room

  • Will find different picture.  February was a month of love. We would like to welcome Lee’ani to our classroom. She is adjusting very well. The infants are very busy! Barrett and Violet are trying very hard to crawl. Meanwhile, they manage to get where they need to go. Catherine is enjoying crawling and exploring the room. As for the rest of us we are doing great. We are waiting for spring very patiently. Enjoy!

  • Waddler Room

  • February has come and gone in a flash, and we are so excited to move on to March’s themes!  First we say good-bye and good luck to our friend Jasmine who will be moving to the Toddler room!  March’s themes include St. Patrick’s Day, community helpers, and weather.  We will be doing many projects involving these themes so be sure to keep an eye out for them around the classroom.  We are hoping for the weather to warm up and snow to melt because we are anxious to get some outdoor play back in our day!  We are excited to see what this month holds for our waddlers.

  • Toddler 1 Room

  • February was an exciting month in the toddler room.  We discussed the importance of dental health as well as eating healthy foods.  We also had an amazing time at our Valentine’s Day party.  This coming month we have some great projects planned.  We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday all month by reading many of his books and doing corresponding art projects.  We will also be learning about the weather, community helpers and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.  We are hoping that March will also bring us warmer weather for outdoor play.   Please check your child’s clothing bucket to make sure there is weather appropriate attire.

  • Preschool 1 Room

  • Wow! it’s March already! We are thrilled to know spring is right around the corner.  With all the changes in the weather, we will be incorporating that into our lesson plans.  Learning all about the weather and noticing the signs of spring!  We will also be focusing on St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, shamrocks, leprechauns, and dyeing eggs.  I am so proud of everyone’s success and improvements with writing their names.  It’s so exciting! Having each student “sign” into school every morning has been very helpful.  If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me, and remember if anyone would like to come read or do a project with the class it would be wonderful for both you and your child.  Thank you!

  • Preschool 2 Room

  • Hello from the Preschool!! February was a short month but jam packed with fun.  We started the month learning about Groundhogs day and that we have six more weeks of winter, OH NO!!  We also made Chinese drums and cherry blossom fans to celebrate Chinese New Year.  We also had a Mardi Gras Celebration.  We have almost completed the alphabet with two letters remaining.  We ended our exciting month with book character day, and we read some of our favorite stories.  We are looking forward to March and Dr. Seuss day, plus warmer weather!!! Have a great month!

    – Miss Melissa

  • Pre-K Room

  • February was a busy month, we learned about Groundhog Day, dental health, and nutrition.  We continue to work on the alphabet, their sounds, recognizing numbers 1-20, counting to 40, and our addresses.  Please continue to work with your child at home.  Our sight words for this month were (this, is, did, get, my, can).  Please help your child find the sight words in books.  As far March we will be learning about weather, community helper (tools) and St. Patrick’s Day!  The letters are S, T, U and number 12 and 13.  Thank you and have a great month!
